It gives me an immense pleasure to introduce and welcome you to Sharadchandra Mahavidyalaya, Shiradhon Dist. Dharashiv. Our college is established in 2001 under the aegis of Hindustani Education Society, Ausa Dist. Latur in the leadership of Founder President Late Shri. Nawaboddin Bashamiya Shaikh with aim to provide education for minority and rural students. Ours place is a village named Shiradhon in Kalamb tehsil which is a remote, interior and moffusil area situated in the ranges of Balaghat Mountain. The college has the vision to make the students self-enlightened and self-reliant by imparting higher education in their future life.
Ours is a grant in aid, co-educational and Minority College permanently affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Our campus accommodates approximately 350 students in the best possible way. We offer UG Programmes in the Arts Faculty and also conducting Certificate Courses under UGC Community College scheme to strengthen the skill development component of our students.
We are trying sincerely to reach the world of excellence through the total development of the rural and minority students. We deeply believe that quality education is a necessary precondition for forthcoming better world. Hence, we are adopting innovative idea, implementing new techniques and acquiring new skills of teaching and learning processes. We are fortunate to have a talented, highly committed and motivated teaching and support staff to ensure the quality of teaching and learning. Integrated efforts and our positive approach will lead us towards the excellence which is our ultimate destination. We value every individual in our care. We are committed to provide the best possible environment for the student’s upliftment and success. We have strong infrastructural facilities which help to build conducive learning atmosphere. This also creates enthusiasm among-st the students. Through National Service Scheme (N.S.S.), we strongly committed to community service which provides an avenue for the personal growth of our students. We are also striving hard to develop linkages with other Institutes of national as well as international importance. Our focus is on the character building of our students to make them a sensible human being as well as responsible citizens of our nation.
